Chronic pain is a complex health concern. Our bodies and our minds are incredibly interconnected. When are bodies are not well, our minds become out of balance. There are many influencing factors that can impact your level of daily pain. These include stress, mood, emotions, quality of sleep, social supports and how your body is responding to and processing the trauma of your accident. 

After physical healing has taken place, you may continue to feel pain. The pain is real. Due to the strong connection between the mind and the body, physical pain can continue after healing has occurred.

In order to relieve this pain, we need to build up tools to support you manage your symptoms, help you body process the trauma, and explore other factors that might be contributing to pain.
