Counsellor

I know firsthand how challenging life can be and how counseling can help.

I am passionate about equipping people who have chronic pain, a health condition, or a recent injury with the tools they need to live a vibrant life that balances their medical needs with a full life. I know how challenging life is with these physical conditions.

My office is comfortable and designed to be accommodating. I offer a mix of in-person and virtual appointments.

I use a variety of interventions and tools to support people through anxiety, depression, stress, life balance issues, self-esteem, relationships, life changes, grief and/or loss, and trauma.

Therapeutic Approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I often utilize a range of tools from a variety of therapeutic approaches. When working with clients with a physical condition or disability, therapeutic tools or activities are carefully chosen in conjunction with the client to ensure accommodations are met.

Degrees: BA in Psychology; Masters in Counselling Psychology. Certified Canadian Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. ACT Certification (in progress).
