Counsellor

Hi, I’m Farnoosh, a registered clinical counsellor. I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can be overwhelming. Having gone through my own mental health journey, I deeply value the importance of a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be truly heard. My goal is to provide that space for you, helping you build self-awareness and move towards a more fulfilling life.

With experience supporting individuals through substance use, anxiety, trauma, shame, depression, grief, and working with survivors of violence and abuse, I believe in the inherent human capacity for growth and healing. I strive to create a compassionate environment where you can explore life patterns and work towards a healthier connection with yourself and others.

My approach is attachment-informed and trauma-informed, rooted in curiosity and compassion. I aim to foster a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. When we work together, you’ll find me to be warm, empathetic, and dedicated to supporting you on your path to healing. I have experience working with a diverse population and aim to learn about your experiences, alongside considering the impact of the bigger systems on our mental health. As an immigrant myself, I am aware of the nuances that immigration brings for us and am hoping to bring that personal and professional experience to support you in navigating building your life in the new country.

If you’re interested in working together or want to learn more, I offer a free consultation to ensure we’re a good fit for the journey ahead.
