I am grateful to be able to conduct work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I humbly join a healing tradition that predates the uninvited settlers of this land, continues to thrive in Indigenous communities, and is an important influence on my practice today.
Senior Counsellor
Sometimes it’s all too much.
Too many intense feelings, too many painful memories, or too many questions that feel impossible to answer. Therapy with me offers a space to lessen the weight of what you’re carrying.
I bring both personal and professional experience with life’s ups and downs. Part of why I became a therapist is because I know how pain and loneliness can convince us that we’re beyond help. That’s why my focus as your counsellor is on healing through connection—whether that’s connection to yourself, to the important people in your life, to me in our work together, or to the broader community.
To support that process, I draw on theories and therapies that are empirically sound and grounded in long-standing research and practice. While their names might sound abstract or technical, the aim is simple: to help you understand how your mind and body experience emotions, so you can regain a sense of inner safety, knowing, and trust.
I primarily work with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and questions of identity or direction. I welcome diverse identities into my practice and acknowledge how the structures and systems of our wider society shape the way you move through the world.
I look forward to hearing how you’ve made it through the hard days so far—and helping you build the tools, insight, and support to face the ones still ahead.
