Counsellor

Hello and welcome. If we work together, I will walk alongside you as a supportive ally in your healing and self-discovery. I will meet you where you are at and hold your experiences with curiosity and care.

I work alongside individuals navigating overwhelming experiences (such as trauma), mental health challenges, substance use, and stress-related concerns. My relational, person-centered approach is rooted in compassion, creating a welcoming and inclusive space where you feel seen, heard, and known.

It is a meaningful opportunity to support people through life’s challenges, always honoring the uniqueness and complexity of each person’s journey. With a focus on fostering genuine connection, the work centers on building trust and empowering you to advocate for your needs.

Experiential and somatic approaches are woven in to support body regulation, healing from overwhelming experiences, and moving toward secure attachment. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in our innate capacity to heal and grow.

Prior to private practice, I dedicated 15 years to public education, frontline mental health, and substance use services, which provided a foundation for my work in the field of counselling.

Therapeutic Approaches: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Lifespan Integration (LI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and Polyvagal and Attachment Theories. I work from an Anti-Oppressive, Relational-Cultural, and Trauma-Informed perspective.
